Love Monsters is a PvP turn-based strategy game available on mobile and desktop, developed by Maverick Metalabs. Players battle their monsters in 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 PvP matches to gain levels, find items, skill fragments, and raise their ranks on the leaderboards. Players can choose to own one of the Monster NFTs or generate their own free-to-play monster, which will come with one of six elemental types: Fire, Ice, Toxic, Earth, Water, and Dark.
By leveling up, they gain access to DNA points to allocate within six different core attributes to give them an edge in battle: Power, Health, Speed, Strength, Focus, and Dexterity. As they level up their monsters, they gain access to additional skill slots that they can fill with different types of skills to customize their playstyle.
By collecting skill fragments, players can craft new skills to equip as well. These fragments are found by unlocking crates, purchasing them in bundles, discovering them on Land Plots, spinning the wheel of fortune, exploring the Monsterverse, or purchasing them within the Marketplace.
Those who hold a Love Monster NFT can try their hand in Ruthless Mode. Here, players can purchase loot bag tiers and put up a quantity of $LMT tokens in a winner-take-all match. These matches can be done in 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 battles. When the battle is completed, the option to do a rematch, or to find the next battle will appear.
Currently in development is the Monsterverse, a city-building game mode where the primary focus is on strategically constructing buildings and meticulously decorating and cultivating Land Plots. Players will send their Love Monsters on resource expeditions and gather resources from the Land Plots they own. These resources will enable players to construct more advanced structures with specialized functions. Additionally, players will utilize their Love Monsters to defend against attacks from enemies known as Drifters. Successful defenses will reward players with items, while losses will result in the loss of precious resources.

There are three types of resources: Structural Resources, which are fundamental for building structures; Magical Resources, used for creating enchanted items and maintaining unique structures; and Technological Resources, which are used to maintain advanced structures and develop new items.
Buildings in the game will serve different functions and fall into various categories. These include Industrial Buildings, which are used for manufacturing, processing, and production, as well as Service Buildings, which are essential for maintaining the well-being and functionality of the Monsterverse. Additionally, there are Decorative Buildings that allow players to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their Land Plots, and Battle-Focused Buildings, which are utilized for defense and military purposes.
