Similar to many isometric ARPGs, Seraph: In the Darkness is a game where players create a character and traverse the world killing monsters and demons, acquiring loot, and purchasing/crafting/upgrading equipment in order to defeat all evil in order to save the world.
This game is free-to-play with optional play-to-earn web3 mechanics. Every account that’s created includes the setup of a custodial wallet within the game which is where all equipment and items that can be minted as NFTs are held. If a player wishes to set up and connect their own web3 wallet they will be able to use their NFT(s) on-chain. If not, the player(s) can use the equipment/items they loot in-game, however most unique equipment NFTs will not be accessible as loot rewards without purchasing or renting the use of NFT equipment beforehand as they are prerequisites to access specific gameplay.
Once the main story is complete players will gain access to various end-game dungeons which will require specific items and/or currency to participate, in addition to owning/renting NFT equipment. These end-game dungeons will be where the highest levels and rarity of loot can be acquired.
Heroes/Characters: There are currently 4 classes that players can choose from, Barbarian, Valkyrie, Sorceress and Necromancer. Each class has their own varying stats for HP, Mana, Defense, Strength, Dexterity, Stamina and Energy. Each class also has 3 sets (or trees) of skills unique to that class which players can customize to their preferred playstyle.
Equipment: A big part of ARPGs. Equipment in Seraph comes in two categories; normal and chaos. Chaos equipment has additional and exclusive attributes compared to its normal counterpart. Chaos equipment can also be freely traded on the blockchain as a Unique NFT.
